Google Fuchsia: A replacement for Android?

If you think Google is already too big a part of our lives, the California-based tech giant may be working on something that’ll make it even more omnipresent. Last summer, a mysterious code under the name Fuchsia emerged online that could be the basis of a new operating system. It has the potential to replace Android as the engine of our phones and Chrome on our laptops, and to control plenty more – smart gadgets like refrigerators, dishwashers, TVs, watches, and even augmented reality interfaces.
