Recipe: »Walnut-Lemon-Pasta«
with Californian Walnuts
Ingredients:
- 60g Californian walnuts, chopped
- 1 organic lemon
- 30g butter
- 10g safe
- 5tbsp cream
- salt and pepper
- 50g parmesan
- 2tbsp sunflower seeds
- 300g pasta of your choice
- Cook the pasta al dente according to package instructions.
- Meanwhile, chop the walnuts and grate the parmesan.
- Wash the lemon with hot water. Grate the zest into a small bowl and juice the lemon.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan and lightly toast the walnuts and sunflower seeds. Add sage and after a further 2 minutes, add the cream. Stir, add the lemon juice and zest. Season with salt and pepper. If needed, loosen with a little pasta water.
- Add pasta to sauce and mix well. Arrange on plates and serve with grated parmesan.
