Coq au Vin is a traditional recipe for poultry and a French national dish. Poultry and chicken have always been cheap animals that require little care – even many centuries ago, the chicken was the main source of meat in France and many other European countries. The chicken’s popularity on tables has resulted in plenty of methods for its preparation.

Photographer Claudia Gödke, food stylist Maria Struck and recipe developer Lukas Grossmann were inspired to create a French menu to match our Caillebotte painting that will take you back to the France of past centuries.
