Balenciaga: Shaping Fashion – exhibition at the V&A
The London Victoria & Albert Museum dedicates a major retrospective to couturier Cristóbal Balenciaga. The exhibition shows some of his most famous creations as well as his business innovations. Not as well-known as his contemporary Christian Dior, he was considered by his peers as »Master of us all«. Often inspired by his native Spain, his clothes gave the wearer support and strength. The shapes still inspire upcoming fashion designers.
